Auntie Time in May

May means greenhouse season around here.
So it also means Auntie-time!

That means playing with trucks in the dirt.

Later while watching a real truck with Auntie E, he was working hard on the sounds in the word by repeating "k", "k", and "t", "t". (Yes, his mother was a phonetics tutor!)

A couple different days included visits to pat his favorite "trac-trac" tires.

Three mornings were focused on building Duplo barns for a menagerie of wild animals.

And the day after watching a chipmunk scoot underneath the pallets of dirt, we still had to look for it again.

Among other activities, this busy 1.5 year old needed cuddles as well.

But of course no one can beat Mama and Dada at that, so Aunties weren't always in favor.
