The power went out as a storm passed through in September, and as the sun was also setting, we lit the candles and had a cosy evening with our handwork.
It is amazing how peaceful the silence can be when the power is out and those constant background noises of appliances are gone. But we were also grateful to get the power back when it was time to put Dorothy to bed!
